Our elderberry extract is standardized for special anthocyanin compounds. But what does that mean? Think of it as the difference between jam and preserves. Both taste like the fruit they're made from, but only the canned ones have real fruit inside - and ideally, you'd want the same amount of fruit in each serving. A standardized extract (in this case with anthocyanins) contains it.
Each tablet contains 90 mg of elderberry extract standardized for anthocyanins. This means more than 700 mg of standardized elderberry extract per day.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Chew one (1) tablet eight times daily, for five (5) days. Do not swallow tablets whole.
CAUTION
Supplemental zinc can inhibit the absorption and availability of copper. If more than 50 mg of supplemental zinc is to be taken daily for more than four weeks, 2 mg of supplemental copper should also be taken to reduce the risk of copper deficiency.
